Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination (10th) from Board of School Education recognized by MHRD, Government of India.

Age Limit: Candidates who are born between 1st December 1999 to 31st May 2005 (both dates inclusive) are eligible for Indian Navy MR recruitment.

How to Apply Navy MR Recruitment?

Candidates who have fulfilled the required criteria can submit their applications on the official portal of Indian Navy. Candidates are required to submit all the required details including some scanned copy of their testimonials along with the application form. The URL of the official portal is attached to this article and candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the application process.

Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
In that portal you will get the option to register yourself.
If you are not already registered then complete your registration process.
Now, login with your registered email address and password.
Click on Current Opportunities.
Click on Agniveer (MR) option.
Fill all the asked details carefully.
Before clicking on the submit button, make sure that all the details are correct.
Now, upload all required documents in specified file type and size.
At the end, submit your application.
Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission.
Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.

Selection Criteria of Navy MR Recruitment

Indian Navy will conduct two types of examination for this recruitment, which is Written Examination and Physical Fitness Test. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Indian Navy will call around 1,500 candidates for written examination and PFT. Candidates will be selected for written examination and PFT on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination (i.e. 10th examination). The cut off marks may vary from state to state as per the vacancies allotted to those states.

1. Written Examination

The details of the written examination to be conducted to select the eligible candidates for this recruitment will be as follows.

Medium of Exam: The question paper will be in two languages ​​Hindi and English.

Type of Question: The questions will be of objective type.

Syllabus: The question paper will have two sections i.e. Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge. All questions will be 10th level questions. Click here for Syllabus and click here for Sample Question Paper.

Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be of 30 minutes.

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection and without qualifying PFT candidates will not be able to participate in the further process. The details of PFT will be as follows.

Running: Candidates have to complete 1.6 Km race within 7 minutes.

Uthak Baithak and Push-ups: Candidates will also have to complete 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 push-ups.

Note: The written examination and physical fitness test will be conducted on the same day.

Merit List of MR Recruitment

The merit list of Indian Navy MR Recruitment will be prepared on the basis of performance in the written examination subject to qualifying the physical fitness test. Around 400 candidates based on state wise merit will be issued call up letter for Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
